The Most Expensive... And The Least Amount Of Frills

Red Roof, Deerfield MA – 109.00USD/night

This hotel’s king suite is almost identical to the size and layout as the Residence Inn standard room. However the cost does not match the quality that is found in Residence Inn.

Shampoo in a to go ketchup packs, bars of soap half the size of other hotels, and furniture got at the discount shop of hotel furniture.

I was able to connect to their WiFi offered there. No free breakfast, just a vending machine free of coffee.

Cleanliness was somewhat good for the type of room, however, I hate seeing someone else’s hair on the shower walls, especially a brunet’s, when I am blond. The dogs were not too happy sitting on the floor, which makes me think of the carpet I need of a cleaning.

No specified dog area, nice grassy lawns to walk the dogs. For the area, it is the only nice hotel near Yankee Candle. If you are tired and need to stop, I would stay there, or if you have to do some work for an industry right there, other than that. Say either down in Northampton or up in Greenfield.

The cost does not equal value. Two paws down for that.

The attached room picture is from their website.  My room did not look as good as their ad.  No flowers in the room.  Nice touch, but not what you get.

The cheapest room on travel, however the most for dog fees.

Residence inn Marriot, Erie PA – 85.00USD/night, the cheapest room for a first time stay at their facility.

Once again, I have no complaints in general. This chain is perfect place to stay when you are on the road. The only problem was connecting to their free WiFi.

From their happier hour to their breakfast, a must on any trip, and the dogs love the place too.

I wish all hotels at the same rate are as nice as this chain.

PS:  Hello to the women I met at happy hour!  Hope you had a safe trip back down south!
